Now its happened again with this job, I've had to mount the backed up image of the partition that I made from the program Reflect to retrieve the profile containing pics and docs ect. The first time I encountered a GPT setup the customer had around 200GB of data to back up, when coping from Sata to Sata after it said it had finished coping all the data some time later, I re-installed Windows, then went to transfer data back and discovered it was only the folders and not the files within the folders, I had to either re-store the Ghost backed up image (or explore the Ghost image to retrieve the files cant remember which way) and transfer the files through the network to the drive, that was the only way the data could get copied. Thanks for your reply Vincent, the original computer can read the drive, I just want to back up the profile before I reset the computer back to factory, I have done this twice now on two different jobs with GPT partitions and on both occasions copying them I've discovered its only copied the folder and not the files even though when copying it says its coping all the files, luckily I always make a backup of the partition using either Ghost 11.5 or Reflect as a safety precaution, I'm dealing with customers data and the last thing I want to do is to loose their data
